When people find out that I’m a runner, they sometimes ask me if I can put together a training plan for them or ask me for advice on running topics. Sometimes the terms we use in the running community are not familiar to them. This is one reason I thought it would be useful for me to write down such information on a blog.
But I also plan to use this blog as a place to express my opinions about running and fitness. People have a lot of opinions about what you should or should not do to succeed as a runner, and though my success is not nearly as good as many others, I feel I have useful advice to offer. Don’t we all?!? I’ve read a lot about the science of running and run 5 times a week.
